This is a high-impact analytical role at the centre of how Pharo Foundation makes decisions. Sitting within the Impact Team under the Chief Impact Officer, you will serve as the analytical engine behind our investment assessments, new venture evaluations, development programme proposals, and strategic partnerships.

The client operates a sesame seed processing facility in Ethiopia and is evaluating a strategic expansion of its product offering. The business currently produces sesame oil and is considering whether to invest in the capacity and supply chain infrastructure required to produce and export hulled sesame seed and related downstream products. Prior analysis has established that the export market for unrefined sesame oil is structurally limited, with a narrow and competitive serviceable opportunity. Diversification into higher-value sesame seed products, in particular organic hulled sesame, is seen as a potential route to improved margins, broader customer access, and better utilisation of upstream supply. Before committing further capital, the client requires an independent market assessment of the commercial opportunity for hulled sesame seed and adjacent products. This is a new and meaningfully different question from prior work on the oil market, and it warrants its own evidence base. 

As the Ventures Studio Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the Pharo Ventures Studio Kigali and the bridge between Studio operations and entrepreneurial talent (founders), building ventures. You will report directly to the Pharo Foundation & Pharo Ventures Rwanda Country Director. You will ensure that the studio runs smoothly while supporting the design, coordination, and execution of the actual venture-building in partnership with venture builders, Pharo Foundation’s Research & Evaluation team and other Pharo departments. You will also serve as Studio operations lead, coordinator, and studio ambassador, making sure both the physical space and venture-building experience are seamless and high-impact.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Storekeeper to be responsible for the complete inventory management and warehouse operations for our factory in Debre Birhan. This is a critical role ensuring the efficient control, storage, and distribution of all factory materials, including raw materials, spare parts, chemicals, lubricants, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will be a process-oriented professional committed to maintaining accuracy, security, and efficiency across all storage facilities, including rented warehouses.

The Cost Accountant will play a key role in tracking, recording, analyzing, and controlling production costs, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting management decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with production, procurement, and management teams to drive cost efficiency and profitability.
