Nkazimulo is Managing Director of Pharo Schools. She an accomplished educator, education leader, and school systems strategist with deep experience in diverse education ecosystems across Africa and beyond. She has built her career designing and leading models that expand access to high-quality learning, particularly for underserved communities.

Nkazimulo has served as a teacher, school principal, regional manager, and portfolio head at SPARK Schools South Africa, where she led a network of 21 affordable schools serving more than 15,000 children. Her work is anchored in building sustainable school models that integrate strong pedagogy, effective operational practices, and financial resilience—ensuring excellent academic outcomes and meaningful student experiences in the low-fee independent school sector.

She holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the University of the Witwatersrand and a BA in Environmental Sciences from the University of South Africa.

Outside of work, Nkazimulo enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and immersing herself in different cultures. She is also an avid sports enthusiast and draws inspiration and resilience from the power of team sport.
